DEEP Rebates

DEEP will work with you to find the Loans, Rebates, and Grants to best suit your home improvement and project needs.  ALL income levels are eligible for our program!

DEEP (Duluth-Resident) Program Rebates & Guidelines:

What does our rebate consist of?

1. Maximum rebates up to $2500 per single unit property; additional $500 rebate per unit available for duplex, triplex and fourplexes.
2. 25% of DEEP qualified contractor installed improvements 
3. Higher rebates for income qualified households

What type of work qualifies?

• Energy improvements must meet a 10 year payback requirement
• Insulation
• Air Sealing
• Furnace and Boiler replacement
• Water heater replacement
• Appliances and lighting may qualify

Who is eligible?

• All income levels
• 1-4 unit houses
• Duluth, Minnesota residents only eligible for DEEP-specific Rebate*
